WM 02 – Conducting Inspections under Supervision

The purpose of this workplace-based learning module is to provide learners with practical experience in evaluating building plans for all building classifications in accordance with SANS 10400 Part A20. Under the guidance and supervision of a mentor, learners will gain exposure to the processes involved in assessing compliance with regulatory standards and providing informed recommendations on building plans. This module enables learners to apply theoretical knowledge in a real-world context, fostering their ability to contribute effectively to the building inspection process while developing critical analytical and evaluative skills in a supervised environment.
